Dr. Dongho Kim is a distinguished scholar and educator currently serving as Professor and Chair of the Business, International Business, and Marketing Department at State University of New York (SUNY), Empire State University. His prolific career spans over two decades of leadership and pedagogical excellence across both American and South Korean academia. Dr. Kim’s extensive research explores the critical intersections of international business, distribution logistics, and cultural studies. He has authored numerous high-impact publications addressing urgent global challenges, from COVID-19 vaccine distribution strategies to the ethical implications of Artificial Intelligence in academic publishing. His influential leadership extends to the Korea Distribution Science Association (KODISA), where he has served as Vice President and chaired the Advisory and Journal Indexing committees. His editorial expertise is equally vast, having served as Senior Editor-in-Chief and Editor-in-Chief for several prestigious journals. Recognized for his academic excellence, Dr. Kim is the recipient of multiple Best Conference Paper Awards, including honors at the 2019 International Conference on Business and Economics and the 2023 International Forum on Distribution Convergence. Dr. Kim offers unique insights into how global commerce and supply chains can navigate the "Age of AI". His recent work on AI-driven journal convergence and contemporary cultural transformations provides a vital framework for understanding innovation, sustainability, and identity within the rapidly evolving landscape of international business. 

El Dr. Hermosilla-Cortés es ampliamente reconocido por su trabajo académico en las áreas de las Finanzas, Contabilidad, Sostenibilidad, Responsabilidad Social y en Economía Social y Solidaria y Cooperativismo. A lo largo de más de tres décadas de liderazgo académico en Chile y en algunos países de América Latina, su trabajo se ha centrado en temas financieros, contables y de sostenibilidad, con investigaciones que han tenido impacto en la formación de futuras generaciones de profesionales en este dominio. Sus publicaciones abarcan temas como las finanzas conductuales, el análisis financiero con una nueva metodología, las normas internacionales de contabilidad (IFRS), el cumplimiento de indicadores de sostenibilidad en empresas que cotizan en bolsa en Chile y en el MILA, así como el cooperativismo y la sostenibilidad, preguntándose si las cooperativas son realmente sostenibles. Hoy incluye un tema en sus reflexiones e investigaciones vinculando la 4ta. Revolución industrial y el uso de la IA, junto con los desafíos de la gestión pública y la aplicación de metodologías activas de enseñanza-aprendizaje, como Aprendizaje y Servicio (A+S), en la formación de futuros profesionales de las ciencias económicas y empresariales.
